Hi, we have a nasty sitaution that I need advice on. I am an outgoing president (not officially resigned yet) and had my treasurer leave town permanently without giving the check book back to me, but an EX president who thankfully is not authorized to use this account. However, the principal did call her to get it back and she has refused, saying she does not want it to go back to anyone until there is a voted member voted at a meeting for treasurer. I have not taken any action yet, but was needing sage advice so we do not start this year on a bad footing...we have worked hard all year to get this back the way it needed to be!!
