Has anyone offered to help with a position, it should be addressed at your monthly meeting, I would also advice to do it 'nicely' like "I understand Joan is doing two jobs, why don't we see if can put that position up to vote".
As far as the lady complaining about your president all I will say is that being president is alot of work and sometimes people need to see and realize that we are just volunteers!
Right now on our PTO board we have one person doing two jobs. In our By-Laws it state that no one can do the jobs of two people. This has been going on since the start of school. When the President of the PTO run off the treasurer. The secretary took the treasurer job but keep her job as the secretary. We so not have a VP right now. Tonight at a school event one of the parent ask me how the President Got here Job because they do not thank she is the right person for the job. This parent is a member of the PTO but is never been informed on anything that the PTO has done for the school. She goes to the PTO events but she is concerned. I am concerned to we can not keep people on our PTO. What can we do to change this. HELP!!!
