This is the version that was done in the 80s. It was updated from the original, and has since changed again quite a bit to a much more contemporary version being used now.

I remember the song .. it was popular from the week before I joined the Air Force until after I was medically retired

But I can't find the full lyrics to show my kid that our generation did care
