If you have a clever teacher or parent, we do a special song for the person leaving. Our songwriter puts personal lyrics to the music of a well known song. The teachers will usually perform. It is great fun.
Our pricipal left last year. We did fruit and muffins for breakfast with all the kids. We gave him an engraved clock and one of those huge cards with all the kids signatures. (We are a small school). It was fun and the kids really enjoyed being involved.
