Our middle school recently booked Crystal Plohman for a fiddling workshop. crystalplohman.com/welcome.htm

Yeah, some of you may not like Country (or Folk), but Crystal puts a fun and fantastic spin on string playing that your kids will be mesmerized and WANT to play!

We received a grant through a local music store who sold Knilling string instruments (Knilling pays for her travel) and the whole workshop only cost about $150.

Find out if there is a local music store that sells Knilling instruments in your area, and if they would act as a liaison between your music department and Crystal.

It was a fantastic workshop and worth the investigative work.

Our next workshop will hopefully be with Cathy Morris - a jazz violin player (v-kewl!)
