I found this website, you might want to try it. www.madscience.com
or maybe get together with some of your local youth programs. Example a karate/taekwondo center, boys/girl club/fire department, D.A.R.E. local gymnastic club. Have a assembly to show the kids what is available for them for after school or during the summer vacation time. Sometimes it is better to see what the program is rather than to read about the program. Ask the business's to donate the time and that way you could save on some of the cost. Hope this helps.
Do you have a budget to pay for these programs? If so, Mobile Productions is a great resource for in school programs. They have a large variety of programming and are very reasonable. To contact them call 1800-433-7459. They have a folder of all the different programs they offer. "Lights, Camera, Action" is one of the firsts I used for our elementary school and everyone loved it! Good luck!
Do you have any special programs for Vetrans Day? The enjoy listening vetrans speak, it's a lesson in democracy, history and American Pride. One year some of our kids where taught to sign in the words to a patriotic song in ASL.
Our PTO would like to put together 1 or 2 assemblies this year. We're located in Indiana. Does anyone have any good suggestions. We're a k-5 school.
Thanks
