Earth Balloon from Whereabouts a huge success

Here is a link to our school's webpage when the Earth baloon came. We ran a Geography night in conjunction with it's visit and had 15 minute "tours" of the balloon.

It was a hit! I highly recommend it and it was worth the price.

The Denver Children's Museum charges $90 an hour with a 2 hour minumum.

They can also make arrangements to do it with a smaller group at the museum for a much lower cost - group rate $4.50 each for presentation as well as over an hour in the rest of the museum afterwards.
Thanks - I'm doing a summer science camp and that's perfect for us.

need to mention - Earth Balloon is a fantastic science program. Check them out (seriously).

The parents/kids and staff loved the earth balloon by Whereabouts.

Hi Lisa@TX,
Saw your message re: Earth Balloon. I think the prices you are quoting are from Earth Balloon, Inc. instead of WhereAbouts. WhereAbouts costs are less and they are the ones who did the program at Momski's school.

Thanks for the advice. I started a new topic. Parent Education (in my case) is having speakers talk about everything from discipline to peer pressure. I am also interested in having the balloon people come to our school, but that's another issue. I have gotten speakers from nearby hospitals, universities, etc. Most are coming for FREE! FYI, PTA does send speakers as well, again, for FREE! Yahoo!
For more info, Do a net search under outreach (and city).

Thanks again,
Lisa @ Tx

Lisa, please start a new topic for the Parent Education Programs, you'll get a better response. What is that anyway? Do they have a website?
