Has anyone ordered/seen any of the free educational videos from VPW ( www.vpw.com )? They have quite an assortment created with industry, commercial, and toursim partnes. The tapes are completely free for schools (don't even have to pay shipping). There are several I ordered for the teachers including, electrical safety, Japanese culture, Shamu, food safety.

I got the first one which is an 8 minute video tour of the Mr. Jelly Belly factory and shows how their jelly beans are made. That one was made as a promotional/educational device and is about 40% marketing. But it's only 8 minutes, and it is interesting so I think the kids will like it. I think some of the others are a little less commercial.

I was curious about any experiences the rest of you have had and wanted to let you know this might be a resource.

Technically, you are supposed to be a teacher or a librarian to place an order, but I ordered some as PTO president, using the school's address and info and they shipped it.
