I think you are thinking of Skydome Planetarium from Mobile Ed Productions. It is similar to the Starlab but they use a much better star projector. We have had both over the years. Skydome has a digital projector with way cool special effects. The old Starlab used to have some kind of film thing over a light bulb and it always seemed kind of hokey to me. Mobile E is a national company based in Michigan and they have been around a long time and offer a lot of really cool assembly programs. We live in Bloomfield Hills and have used them a lot for years.
There is also another one that was put out by NASA-- each program has narration for the event and there are 15 different programs to choose from-- -again, I'll post this one on Monday also-- I gave the brochure to the Science teacher to check them out.
Do you mean Star Lab--- our school has this every year-- I'll see who runs it-- I believe we get this dome every year through the district-- there is no charge to us-- but the district might have purchase this a few years ago-- because our Science teacher runs the event.

I don't know about the one in Michigan but we use one from the local children's science museum that has that exact same type of set up. Perhaps that would be a good place to start?
Hello. I am trying to find this school assembly that our school did years ago but am having no luck in figuring out who it is. Basically they came to our school and it was a giant dome. The kids could go into it and look at the constellations. If you have any clue as to what I am talking about, can you please point me to the the right web site. Our school is located in michigan.
