Question: Volunteereing to pay student fees

Our Choir booster club partnered with our Band boosters to volunteer at a venue where only those 18 and over can 'work'. The events earn X amount that goes toward their students fees for choir. Its not outlines in our bylaws because its new. How do we make it work.

It sounds like the events generate some funds that can go toward student fees. The booster club could receive that as a donation. But, as you mentioned it is not in the bylaws. If you do take donations from other organizations, it is probably OK to do this as well.
