Question: Fundraising for Disaster Relieft
Our PTO and School would like to do a monetary fundraiser for the Hurricane Harvey relief effort. We are trying to determine if, as a 501c3, we can raise monetary funds for another non-profit. Do we need to be concerned with collecting cash and checks for a third party fundraiser and depositing to the PTO bank account and writing a check the the charity?
