Question: Exterior lighting for event 5-8

I am a new chair for our Family Fun night in September from 5-8. Last year, they rented 2 light towers to illuminate the fields where event is held for 1/5 of our budget. ($500) Any suggestions on how to light exterior in fields far from an outlet that is safe but not so expensive? We have a petting zoo, inflatables etc there and the sun sets during our event. Thanks
