Question: Multiple Bank Accounts

Can one school's PTO have multiple bank accounts for different school divisions?

Technically, yes, but, it's a more complicated way to do things. We've seen groups set up a separate account for a big project, like a playground build, but it's pretty unusual to have many.

Ethically speaking, this is not the right way of handling the PTO. The RISK is too high for fraud. You should have only 1 PTO bank account. You can certainly manage the account using project names for the budget line items. Using a software like Quicken will also allow you to manage each project.
