Question: Volunteer Recruitment and Incentives

Does your PTA/PTO offer an incentives program or rewards towards volunteering? If so does this maintain a consistency? An increase? Or no difference?

We have a 25 hour challenge, each time you volunteer or come to after school events ie parent nights, parent/teacher conferences, etc. You get credit for the time you were there. When you reach 25 hours your name goes in a drawing, and for each 25 after that. 2012-13 school year we gave away a weekend at a local indoor water park, which was donated. 2013-14 school year we gave away an ipad mini.
