Question: Guest Speaker for PTO Officers???

I am planning an event which will include PTO Officers from the fellow elementary schools in our district. The idea is to share ideas, brainstorm, and get connected. I'd love to open the event with a speaker on PTO. Does this person exist somewhere??? Help!

What were you hoping to have this person address? You might want to ask the PTO leaders what topics they'd be most interested in and that could help guide you. For example, if the group is very interested in policy, working with the administration, then perhaps you could bring in the superintendent of your district. If you wanted someone to talk about the big picture -- mission and purpose of PTOs -- consider reaching out to a former (or even current PTO leader) who enjoys public speaking and could address that issue. If you let us know the specific topics you would like to cover, we could send you some resources.
