Question: Huge typo in the newsletter

So I sent home newsletter on Friday. I wrote up a paragraph on the Cartridges for kids and instead of saying once we get a good amount we ship it out, its says Shit it out... I looked over it a million times for typos and had someone else look over it as well.. ugh.. what should I do? damage has been done but should I send out a apology or leave it be?

Feel your pain! I've made my share of typos, believe me! I would say you could write up a light (not silly, but not overly dire, either) apology in your next newsletter or communication (do you do any regular emails?). Let people know you sincerely didn't mean to offend anyone. If you do a big, separate apology, you may actually call more attention to it that it initially received.
