Question: Booster Clubs
When would it be beneficial for booster clubs to be separate entities for the school? We are a large high school with numerous boosters. For smaller clubs, would it not make sense to use the school account verses going through the time and expense of setting up their own organizations? What is the benefit of having an tax-exempt entity set up separate from the school?
