Rose H writes:Bylaws are the governing rules of your group, and address such issues as what offices will make up the executive board (one president, one or two vice presidents, etc.), when elections will be held and how many members make up a quorum for general meetings. Committees themselves do not have bylaws. They can have rules or guidelines on how they should be run, however. And that means you could have different guidelines for different committees, depending on what the committee does. So, bylaws govern the group as a whole and individual committees can have their own guidelines. Hope this helps!
