Question: How many PTOs have LLC status

We are in the process of setting up a PTO as 501(c)(3) and we are wondering whether we should register as an LLC. Do many PTOs apply for LLC status too?

I don't think that is what you would want. I know this because I own a business and registered as an LLC. But I have no employees, officers, etc. Our group registered as a non-profit corporation with our state. Hope this helps!
