Question: What to do when treasurer and principal ignore a vote?
What would you do if a vote on spending took place but was not honored by the treasurer and then the principal did not force the treasurer to abide by the vote?

Craig writes:It's hard to know the best response without more details. However, it's not the principal's place to make sure the treasurer adheres to PTO decisions -- that's up to the president, the board, and the membership as a whole, I'd say in that order. If something was purchased that the group had decided against purchasing, you can make a motion at the next meeting to return it or to seek whatever other remedy makes sense.
