What to do when previous board member run against you, for ill reasons, that are not to do with you personally, but current board president?

Craig writes:No matter what their reasons, you can't really stop people from running for election. You just have to make your case, marshal support, and hope to win. You could try speaking personally with the person who is running against you to try to talk her out of it -- that actually might work if you are able to separate yourself from whatever she perceives as "the problem."
