katybug writes:Our school is doing it and I am really excited that we no longer need to have a delivery day. I love that the products are being delivered directly to the customers and I love that there won't be any backordered items anymore. It kinda makes sense. Now we can buy gift cards for our hair dresser, mailman, friends and family and let them do their own shopping for the holidays.

As a chair, I loved that my job would have been easier, but I don't think we would make as much money, and this is a major fundraiser for our school.

David Martin writes:We have been a loyal Sally Foster customer for many years and rely on the $4k-$5k we generate from holiday gift wrap fundraiser. We tried the new gift card program for the first time this year (and most likely the last time). At the end of the two week fundraiser, we’ve had nothing but complaints and our sales are way down. We will be luck to raise $1000 this year. SF gift wrap is good, but expensive. When you add in the cost of shipping, one roll of wrapping paper is almost $13.00. What happens to the remaining money left on the gift cards if you don’t use the entire amount? Sally Foster gets to keep it. We will be looking at other vendors to help with our fundraising next year.
