Question: Fundraiser overnignt run/walk event

Our principal wants the PTO to sponsor an overnight fundraiser run/walk event. I need to know how successful and what it took to handle such an event.

Fun runs can be very profitable, but they take many volunteers and a lot of organization. Here's a very good article outlining how to make your fun run a success. By the way, I don't know of any groups that have done this as an overnight. (I'm sure some have...) But I don't know if I would attempt it the first time out. It definitely adds a layer of complication.
