We used this poem as part of our Poetry Tea. The kids each had a small sheet of brightly colored paper with the poem, and the candy bar velcroed onto it. They came to the head of the class, read their part of the poem, and attached it with double stick tape to a large poster board. By the end of the poem, we had a huge posterboard filled with fun lines about the teacher. The kids loved participating. The teacher cried, then enjoyed the candy.
