These are sign template pieces to use for your Snowman Building Contest. I ran them off on light cardstock on a color printer and then had students cut them out before the contest got under way. Simply staple pieces to a large bulletin board with each teacher's name below their snowman as each classroom earns them (20 BTs = 1 piece) and build your snowmen from the big bottom round on up. There are 9 pieces in the "Snowman Building Contest Pieces 1" file and these signs for the snowmen to hold are the very last piece to complete them. Additionally, I added scarves and hats that I printed from http://www.first-school.ws/activities/seasons/snowman.htm. So for a classroom to complete the snowman, they'd have to pitch in 240 BTs collectively. Or, just 200 if you decide to go without the hats and scarves. Contest instructions are on the collection sheet located in the file "Snowman Building Contest Sheet." In just the 18 days of December, this contest earned our second most Box Tops of the school year thus far, second only to September with its summer load. It was really popular! Happy building!
