What a relief to hear you are doing well MT--I've thought of you often these past weeks and know how very scary it is to deal with a life or death event. Will continue to pray for both your hubby and your well being. Take care of yourself during this. He will need you regardless of his progress and you need to be able to stay strong.

I will certainly pray for the little girl's family. It is always difficult when you hear about a child passing away.
Just to update everyone on my husband's condition. He is eating and talking now. He has made a miraculous recovery so far, and the doctors are in shock. They still don't know if he will have any permanent brain damage, but he has come a long way. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, and please continue to pray for him to make a full recovery.
I saw this again and thought I'd add a request too. A former student of our school died yesterday. She was 10 years old and battled cancer. She was in my daughter's class until they moved, but still lived in our area. Our school is sending cards made by the students and taking up money for the family.
