I paid $69 for mine online but it was Christmas and I got free shipping. It was a much better quality chair than the older one and had a nice fabric on it.
You can get the ones that are J shapped and rock from Target for 20 bucks on sale, they have sales all the time also. My 9 yr old son has it and my 4 yr old has a big pink beanbag, she uses his all the time. It does flip backwards but the back of the rocker is so tall they don't crack their heads.
The chairs I got from Fun Furniture Plus were about $60 apiece, but I got free shipping because it was over $200. They were delivered in clear plastic bags, though.
Thanks, that helps. If you don't mind saying - what what was the ballpark price of the chair? It seems like $69 is a common price, but then I've seen them go up to $200.
I bought my husband one years ago. It has been WELL used. Now we have an 11 year old son who uses it. And my adult daughter loved it so much I had to find one for her for Christmas last year. I didn't like the vinyl ones at the bean bag stores so I found one online but I don't remember where I bought it.
I bought four chairs from Fun Furniture Plus (they have a store on ebay) for Christmas. My nephews and son (ages 8-12) love them and while the chairs do tip back to the floor, they will usually just tip over sideways during a bunch of horseplay.
My daughter (age 10) received one for Easter from Linen-n-Things. It was more expensive but you can usually find a 20% off coupon in the Sunday paper. This chair is softer and has a pillow attached.
Walmart.com had them at Christmas, but had sold out fast.
