I agree with PTAWashington. We have dealt with National Prize and Toy and they are great. Never any issues like we have had with Rhode Island & Oriental

I would not recommend Rhode Island Novelties.

Their pricing is low but their products arrive broken.

They will make you pay to return the items.

Go with Oriental Trading. Good Products and Pricing and Great Customer Service.

Go to the BBB online and look up their rating a B.

Come on!!!!

I live in Rhode Island, and the PTO at my son's elementary school swears by this company. If you are local, take a trip up to the showroom. See the quality of the items that they have. The people there are awesome. You can even pick up your orders at that facility, so you can check right away for anything that is wrong, broken, etc.
I feel that we should try to keep our business purchases local, if at all possible. You will not have any complaint that is not addressed immediately.

We had used Rhode Island and OTC in the past and never liked the quality of the goods. We found National Prize and Toy and have been very please with the toy quality, price and customer service.

I have also purchased from them as well, they are about the same quality as oriental trading, some things are less expensive, but the shipping is the higher cost. Generally on oriental trading you can qualify or find a code for FREE shipping. Both offer different things at times. RIN offers great headboppers....these are awesome to sell for $2.00-$3.00 each if they follow the theme of your event! Kids love them!

Our school LOVES Rhode Island Novelty. We order from them a lot and notice that some things are cheaper through them than through Oriental.

Every year we buy Christmas presents for every child in our school. As this can get to be expensive, we buy through Rhode Island. This way, they can get nice items and we can budget our money wisely. If we're buying by the dozens, we divide that by the actual price and you'll see per item you're not paying a lot. This way, we can keep track on how much we're spending on each child in the different classrooms, and most of the time they go home with several nice presents.
