I believe that in regards to the movie liscense there are rules that the movie pertains to school curriculum. I don't have my movie night info here, but it is something like this.
Hello
I thank everyone who posts such great information here. I actually was first sent to PTOToday from the Box Tops 4 Education coordinator message board. I am wanting to reward my students with a movie night for earning so much from the BT program.
I have clicked on the link for movie night information kit. However, I can not get past the gate. Apparently our school is not registered. We are a private school, and do not have a "main-stream" parent group. Is it possible for me to get the Movie Night Kit?
I do have a few questions from visiting the www.movlic.com
website. Their information specifically says that outdoor movies are not allowed at all - Did I miss something, because the Outdoor showing (described here) would be perfect in our rural village. Also, The annual fee for a school of just under 300 - does anyone know?
I just love visiting here.
You're all so nice

Our school has a hard time getting parents to come to the PTO meetings and I want to help fix that. I love the idea of a MOVIE night- but I don't know where to start. How do you project it so a large group can see the movie? Do you just use a video like I would have for my kids at home? Some have said you have popcorn, etc. do you charge for that? We live in a very low income area so we need something inexpensive for the families. Thanks SO much for anyone that can help me.
Hi Judy -
Glad you're here.
If you guys decide to have a Family Movie Night, the free kit we provide here (www.schoolfamilynights.com
) will give you all those answers, lots of creative ideas, promotional tools and more.
Family Movie Night is one of the easier Nights to put on.
