Speaking of Carnivals,
can anyone tell me where I can buy the canes for the cane toss. I have looked everywhere and can't find any...I think they must have banned them!!!!! We are having a spring carnival and I would like to use them instead for the liter pops.

Were these gently used books, or brand new ones? I like the idea!

Last year we added a book walk. Done just like the cake walk. All of our books were donated. The winning child picked a book. It was a huge success. And we had so many books donated by parents thattoward the end each child got a book just for playing and the winner got 2. We still had enough books left over for this year.

We ordered a game called monster mash from School Carnivals to go www.schoolcarnivals.com/ it was a big hit! It was very inexpensive ($17) and came with 100 prizes. We just ordered a few sets. The kids loved it.
