You might contact them to see if they could donate a bat boy/girl night. Our minor league team donates one for us along with tickets for friends. It usually goes for over $100.
Also, John Daly (the pro golfer) is a local boy so we usually get signed items from him. Last year, he gave us a Hippo (club, not animal). Corliss Williamson (NBA) also gives us signed items.
I think I have lost my mind with this donations finding thing. I have actually surfed the web for free comic books and activities book. If it was free, I ordered it. Don't know what I will do with them but I'll think of something(he,he,he) I thought about sending a football to the semioles and seeing if they would autograph it since we are located close to them. same with the atlanta braves. any one tried that?
Here's my best!! Every year Dr. Pepper has the t-shirt give-away over the summer. This year it was Spiderman. I collect the labels off the bottles from the Ballpark (we're there almost every night).
These shirts usually go for $12 in the silent auction. Not bad for a 32 cent stamp.
