How about a lip sync show, in my school (over 650 kids) we allow 1st,3rd,and 5th graders to perform (up to 24 acts or 200 kids whichever comes first due to space constraints) they choose a song arrange an act. Usually we have anywhere from 2-16 kids in each individual act(song) they are responsible for the props, costumes. We have good fundraising with this. usually bring in about 7-9 thousand. We do three shows (one for the students in school- daytime) then 2 night shows our auditorium only holds 500 and both nights sellout, we sell a dvd of the performance for 20.00, we do a playbill and sell ads (each act usually takes out an ad and puts a picture in, local businesses),
we take group pictures on the night of the performance and sell 5x7 enlargements for 5.00 each, we used to have an intermission and sell refreshments. We have done this for 10 years. The teachers have an act and the principal does one too. It is the event of the year at our school.

My kids also attend a small private school that limits our fundraisers. We decided on one called Simplified Scrip because it doesn't require alot of volunteer time. We used to use another scrip program, but it took about six of us at least 10 hours of volunteer time per week to run it. It was like a full time job. It's a good program because you don't have to send your kids out in the neighborhood to sell garbage. You just buy gift cards for you groceries and gas, and earn money for doing it.

Arbonne Gives Back

Dear Arbonne Family and Friends,

With summer over, children heading back to school, and the holiday season fast approaching, it seems as though the financial times in our families are tougher than ever. I am sure if you are like me, most of you know individuals or families that are in need of an economic boost these days.

I would like to introduce to you a new and very exciting way to help these individuals and families in need, and at the same time enjoy pure, safe, and beneficial products for you and your family. Some of the brightest minds and biggest hearts in Arbonne have come together to create this very special new program called, “ARBONNE GIVES BACK”, let me explain how this program works.

· Chose an individual, family, or charity of your choice who is in financial need.

· Agree to host, either an in home presentation (usually between 5-12 people), or we can plan an online fundraising event and invite those you know to attend.

· Set a date within the next 2 weeks to host this event or fundraiser.

As a result of this “Arbonne Gives Back” program, 100% of the retail profit earned from the presentation or fundraiser will be given to the individual, family, or charity that you chose. As a gift for planning and hosting the event or fundraiser, the host is eligible to receive Arbonne products at an 80% discount from the retail price.

Let me demonstrate how this would work for you, an average presentation or online fundraising event usually generates approximately $750.00 in retail sales. At this rate, you would be able to give back to the individual, family, or charity approximately $263.00 each time you hosted an event. Just think do this 6 to 8 times in a year, and you would be able to generate approximately $2,100.00 in donations, and do not forget the substantial savings on the product for yourself each time you host an event.

How exciting would it be for individuals and the community to team up with an awesome company like Arbonne International to give back to those who are in need. I would like to encourage you to hop on board this Fall 2008 and begin to experience the benefit of the “Arbonne Gives Back” program. Please contact me for more specific information on the program, as well as scheduling a date to host your first event.

Thank You For Partnering With Us!
