We have done a holiday shop for the past 5 years. We have had a wonderful experience with Cady Fundraising in Florida. They use Candy Cane Shoppe & provide a cash register & products are on a consignment basis. They will take back any unsold product. We do mark up the product slightly. I highly reccomend them. We also used them for out fall catalog sale & made $8,000 over our budgeted amount! www.cadysonline.com
Good luck!
Does anyone know where I can get just the envelopes for the shoppee????
While we are on the topic we dont use a service anymore either. It seemed more beneficial to use the $1.00 store.

The previous school I was in had craft mall in which the crafters had to have a certain number of 25 cent items. (I was a crafter not one of the ones running it.) It was held in the gym and the cashiers were on the stage. teachers and volunteer parents kept an eye on the kids to make sure nothing wondered away.
At my new school, which is k-12, the situation is the same. It's a common set uo around here. But the organizer has suggested that I stay at my booth and watch my jewelry and make the kids go pay and then I give them the item after they show me the receipt. I don't like the idea much so I may end up making wreaths. But that gives you some ideas. The booth areas were 10x8 or 10x10 for a whole then divided from there. a whole one is $40 plus the school recieves %10 of sales from each vendor. this is why having the school run the cash register is good.
But no, the old school generally gets about $1000 from it. And it's a lot of work. But the kids love it. It's mostly a service for the kids and the community. It's how we get our craft fair fix in this area.
Sorry, me again! I just wanted to remind everyone that no matter which company you use you ARE NOT going to get high quality merchandise. Obviously you want stuff that isn't going to break right off and with Fun Services and Gingerbread Shop we have been very excited about their products. Nothing is going to be "High Quality" unless you pay "High Dollar" and even then you are not guaranteed anything.
Just thought I'd add that as a footnote. Good Luck!
We do the Holiday Shop every year and have great success. We do a minimal markup so that we make some money off of it but it also covers if some kids come up short. We use a company called The Gingerbread Shop out of Toledo. In years past we have also used the Fun Services-Secret Santa Shop but had problems with getting enough stuff from them so we went with the other place. I am listing below a few other places that we checked out but they were too far from our school--we stayed close to home.
