My husband's cousin had a fire in her house in Clermont County on or about August 26th and lost everything. The most valuable thing she lost was her eight (8) year granddaughter. She is a 68 year grandmother raising her three (3) grandchildren. Her other two grandchildren were not home at the time. Her house was totally destroyed and she and her two surviving grandchildren have nothing. They are currently staying with her Son. She was in the hospital for smoke inhalation and burns for about a week. She is now on oxygen and in a wheelchair. I do not know if that is a forever thing or not. If you could please do what you can for then it would be a wonderful thing. The eleven (11) year old boy wears size 28/30 pants (he really likes sports pants with the stripe on the sides, size medium - if possible). T-shirts - size sm. adult or large jr. (likes t-shirts with wording on them or pictures or both.) Sweat shirts or pants or some hooties also - size med. Briefs Large Jr. or Small Adult. Short socks. Shoes - size 10-1/2. The 13 year old boy wears size 34/32 pants (prefers jeans). T-shirts- size Large with wording or pictures or both on them. Sweat shirst and pants sie large or x-large-likes hooties also. Boxers - size large. Short socks. Shoes - size 11. Of course, they will take whatever you can do for them but I thought that if I put in their preferences it would be nice. I don't know if you would have anything for the grandmother or not but she wears x-large blouses and t-shirts. Size 16 jeans with elastice in back if possible and/or size large stretchy pants. Size 8 underwear. Thin adult womens socks and size 8 to 8-1/2 shoes. Thank you so much in advance for anything you can do. I am also planning a silent auction. This is our first one so we are kind of flying by the seat of our pants. I found most of my information online at www.hoovers.com. I was able to find contacts for a number of businesses from Nintendo to American Girl. I started gathering names of nonlocal businesses first. I figured they would take the most research. I don't know if I am right or not, we'll have to wait and see.
What I am in need of right now is a really good letter to send to these people. I am hoping to get a couple of them to use for ideas when I put together one.
