Sam's Club sells the Hershey's fundraiser boxes pretty cheap. It's an expense up front, but has a pretty big profit margin. You can look it up online at
Sam's Club - samsclub.com
but I've seen them in the actual store as well.
Several years ago we used "World's Finest" choc. bars. We earned 50% profit, they supplied the kids incentive prizes and they responded quickly when we ran out and needed more chocolate. The only thing was they couldn't take returns on unsold bars as it was a food product. We used the slogan "Candy for Computers" as we were trying to raise enough money to purchase more computers for our school. We earned over $12,000 profit. There was only a few extra boxes we had ordered and hadn't sold so we then placed them in our AR store as prizes for the students to spend their AR points for. They were very easy to work with and responded quickly to our phone calls.
