I totally understand about the volunteering taking a back seat. Today is Sunday and I hope it finds your husband back home with you and things going much better! My prayers will be with you!
Sorry MISTER blue! :)Glad to see you back!
I too have been MIA, my husband is in the hospital and everything, including PTA has taken a backseat recently. We are hoping he'll come home Sunday but right now the focus is on eating (emergency bowel resection- Crohn's disease) Anyhow, I miss the boards but I am trying to stay on top of requests for donation letters, etc. Bear with me!!! I severely separated my shoulder playing ball in mid-June, had surgery, and spent the last eight weeks in a sling, typing one-handed. I'd rather be in a PTA!! (hee hee...just kidding!!)
I missed this thread--WOW what a hot one! I'll resist the urge to comment, as it looks like the subject has been exhausted. I just hope everyone has a successful year, no matter what the acronym!
My daughter enters a new school in September, and we have to meet to decide whether to form a PTA or a PTO. Dynamic way to start a year, eh?
