Sure, that's what they tell you, but there are many books on the reorder list that are not on the fair. Doing a quick restock right away is one way to increase your collection.

Maybe not enough, as not all of their titles are book fair books, but there are options other than the 'set' that they initially send. They have their reasons for pushing certain titles. That doesn't mean we have to push those titles, too.

If you don't expect too much from me, you might not be let down. <img src=images/smilies/smile.gif>

Our k-4 scholastic sales do good and our middle school 5-8 sale is ok--I don't know if its just kids that age don't want to spend their money on things like books or if there really isn't anything that appeals to them at the sale ( i have heard both of these responses from the middle school students) and then we have used scholastics for a high school sale and well the junk is what sold there--those students were just not interested in books--but loved the fuzzy pencils LOL!! I just think scholastics books are more focused on the elementary level--even though this year we did get alot of preschool age books too. Or yes the expensive hard cover books.
One thing I can say for the Usbourne book sale we held last year was there was NO junk--just books.
Only thing with them is we had to take alot of orders for books--we worked with a local usbourne book seller and she did not have alot of extras of the books and I as a parent working the book fair hate to see a kid want a book and have to wait on it--sometimes its hard for a kindergartner to understand "when it comes in you will get it"--they want the book now LOL!!
