Does your group have Bylaws and if so is there any reference to "PTO"?

Also, are you independant or dependant?

Good luck,

Everything is set up as :"School Name" PTO. Not sure about the independent or the dependent. What's the difference?

Yeah... very, very likely to be a misinformed principal.

Kind of similar to some of the emails we get from PTAs who sign up for one or another of our free services and then are told by some PTA higher up that they are "not allowed to do anything with PTO". They're usually delighted when we tell them that all of our services are acronym-agnostic and that thousands of PTAs use our many services and programs.

Just takes clear communication and educating....

I would be frank with her and ask her where she got the info and get specific reasons why she's being so adamant.

He is actually a SHE and is prone to this type of wild hair changes. She normally backs of, but she has started referring to the group as the PTG. At least now I feel fully informed to go and set her straight. It would be such a hassle to change all of the accounts. Thanks for the help!
