We did a survivor dinner theatre kind of night for our teachers, complete with tiki torches and menehune. Rather than do a real survivor game, we did a survivor trivia game instead. Everyone had a blast!
I just had to post a quick Hello to ya'll, and say how fun that idea of a "Survivor" theme would be for the teachders. You could even have a different element of fun with that theme each month! Thanks for sharing your idea.
At the end of our 1st week of school last year we did a SURVIVOR Theme. They entered the lounge with a poster advising that there was no alliance here, we are all survivors!! The teachers/staff loved the idea and they are truly survivors! We then decorated with an island theme. It was fun. Just an idea! Good Luck!
Here's an idea we used for our yearbook theme last year, but it could work for your purposes....."A piece of the puzzle". It brings the element of unity to the staff, in that the piece alone doesn't work, but when all pieces are together, you can see the big picture. For small gift ideas for the teachers, you can run to the dollar store, pick up some plain picture frames and a 500-piece puzzle. Paint the backs of the puzzle pieces your school colors and glue them to the frame. I could send you a pic of the one I did. It's a nice theme to work with.
