Celebrate the warmer weather and create this upcycled popsicle craft with the class.



Materials:



Cardstock or scrap cardboard (recycled cereal boxes work great)

Magazines

Construction paper

Ruler

Scissors

Tape

Glue stick

Optional: Pom poms or glitter for fun sprinkles


How to Make:



Decide what kind of popsicle or ice-cream shape you want to make.

Draw and cut out a pattern to make multiples.

Use scrap paper, construction paper and magazines. Tear strips of paper.

Use glue sticks to create a pattern on your cardboard.

When your shape is covered and design complete flip over. Trim away any scraps that go past the edge.

Use tape to attach a popsicle stick.

Optional: Use school glue and add pom poms or glitter as sprinkles!
