Materials:
Large construction paper
Pre-cut stars or make your own
Markers
Glitter glue (alternative: school glue and glitter or sequins)
Tempura paint
Sponge brush
Cup
Optional: Ruler
Print out for each artwork: "On our way to 1st grade we will reach for the stars!" (Modify for each grade)
How to Make:
Buy pre-cut stars or draw a pattern and cut out your own.
Write names on stars then using a glue stick to attach to the paper. Leave room for star trails.
Use glitter glue to create star trails. Allow to dry.
Use a glue stick to attach "reach for the stars" paper or handwrite.
Choose a color of tempura paint and help students paint hands to create handprints.
Allow to dry.
