Construction paper

Felt or foam stickers small heart, star or fun shapes
Optional felt or foam letter stickers
Pieces needed to create each portrait:
1 Sheet of construction paper to use as a base
1 Small round or oval shape for the face a yogurt cup or egg dye cup works well
2 Strips of paper for the arms
1 Big rectangle for the body
1 Square for the hat
1 Small strip for the hat brim
1 Small strip for hat tassle or yarn
1 Small felt sticker for the hat
2 Felt hand stickers
1 Felt sticker letter optional
How to Make:
Decorate the face and set aside.
Next crimp the two strips of paper for arms.
Attach the arms to the big rectangle for the body. Use the glue stick, then flip over the shape and attach to the paper.
Next glue the end of the arms down. Attach to stickers for hands.
Optional: Attach a felt letter for the student's name or draw the letter.
Optional: Use paper, marker, crayon to create hair.
Attach the face with a glue stick.
Attach hat brim,hat, tassle and add felt sticker.
Optional: Hair can still be added if the student changes their mind.
Allow to dry.
