Eggs
Acrylic paints
Markers
Ribbon
Fabric Scraps
Paper/Construction Paper
How to Make:
Use either hard-boiled or blown out eggs. If using hard-boiled, just don't leave them sitting by the window too long or it could get stinky.
Have the kids draw a line 1/2 or 2/3 of the way up the egg to mark the separation of the clothes and the face - or you can make the line for them.
To save time, draw the faces on the eggs first with marker - then use paint to create their clothes.
While the paint dries, have the kids draw legs, arms, hats, wings, etc. on the paper. Cut out and glue the pieces onto the eggs once the paint has dried.
