Materials:
Pony beads
Pipe cleaners
Yogurt cups, bowls or small Dixie cups (to sort beads if desired)
How to Make:
Chose a pipe cleaner.
Sort beads to do a pattern for ex: green and white or green, white and yellow. Or hand out a rainbow assortment of beads.
Bend one end of the pipe cleaners to make a small foot. This will help keep the beads from sliding right off the end and remind you where to stop.
About 44 beads fill one standard pipe cleaner, so you can practice counting.
Bend the other end of the pipe cleaner if needed to keep beads from slipping off.
Choose a second pipe cleaner to complete your necklace. Twist the ends together. If you want a longer necklace add another pipe cleaner and additional beads.
