Congratulations! Vice president often is a job that becomes what you make of it. Often, there are no strongly defined duties other than filling in for the president when she's not available to chair a meeting. That can be both a challenge and an opportunity. On the opportunity side, it allows you to find projects that fit your particular interests and skills, whether it's organizing activities, helping with communications, working on organizational details, etc.
