Kid Volunteers

Our school would like to have our kids be involved with service. We have many of them who really enjoy helping out. What is a great way to promote the kids to help out within the school? Maybe by counting labels, handing out snacks at events etc. or small tasks teachers may need help with? THoughts or ideas? Incentives? Does anyone have experience with this?

Our student council helps out with school store and with selling snacks at movie nights.

Years ago, the 5th grade had a car wash fundraiser.

We think it's great when kids are encouraged to help! There are many ways to involve kids to help out the school and the PTO. This article provides lots of ideas to promote social awareness with kids and help them help others.
