Parental involvement by type of school

Hi all! I am a preservice teacher who is currently in a middle-level education course. I am working on an assignment to help me get a real-world perspective on parental involvement in middle schools. Specifically, I am interested in the differences (if any) between urban and rural schools. Any information or experiences that you all wish to share would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!

That's a pretty broad question, so I'm not sure you're going to get what you're looking for. Not many parents have experience at both urban and rural schools, so they won't be able to discuss differences. If you have anything more specific you'd like to ask, you're welcome to post it on the PTO Today message boards where, I think, you're more likely to get feedback. Good luck.
