Boy&Buddy Bash

I am hosting a Boy&Buddy Bash at school. It's an event for boys and a special buddy (adult) to spend one on one time together for a few hours. Has anyone ever hosted anything similar to this? I would be interested in knowing what was done, how it went & any changes that you would have made.

An event where child/adult work together to accomplish a goal might work well for what you have in mind. For instance build a simple project (like Lowe's Build and Grow) or play a team game together. We just posted an article about a family night where parent and child perform simple learning activities to solve a puzzle. It was called The Amazing Case.
