Unfortunately, anyone can sue at any time, whether or not the suit is justified. If you followed your bylaws, you're probably in good shape. However, if you really think you might get sued, you should consult an attorney who's experienced with nonprofits. And if you don't have it, you should consider getting insurance for your PTO.
