990ez line 10 schedule

In pto todays tax return example it says to ignore the $5000 threshold reference and to list all donations in a schedule. Why is this? Our donations are under $1000. Is there a reason why we would want to attach a schedule?

That's based on advice we received from the IRS when putting our Treasurer's Toolkit together. We were advised that the instructions are unclear as to whether the $5,000 threshold means that any grant over $5,000 needs to be listed or all grants must be listed if your donations total $5,000 or more. Thus, the IRS agent advised us that the safest course is to list all donations, regardless of the amount.
